CableCom Electrical were employed as the Electrical Contractor for Cruden Building and has delivered The Ropeworks in Leith. This unlocks the potential of this complex Brown field site Teague Group resolved title burdens and satisfied historic planning conditions while developing a quality scheme of over 650+ homes. 

Following the successful planning application Teague Group successfully sold the North/West parcel of the site to Cruden Homes East and Link Housing association to deliver 199 units for mid-market rent.

Following the huge success of phase 1 (81 Units) and 2 (82 Units) Teague Group proceeded with the phase 5, 95 units featuring studios, 1 bed, 2 beds and 3 beds. These cutting-edge urban dwellings where complete during the summer of 2021 leaving a single phase (phase 8) consented for 38 units to be delivered which CableCom also have commenced work on.

Central to this project is the concept of open spaces – with direct access onto the existing 46 acre Leith Links and a new public park being built within the site this landmark development will offer a vibrant and engaging outdoor space for all city residents.
