In March 2019 CableCom Electrical began Lighting, Power, Data, Fire Alarm, Lightning Protection, CCTV, Access Control, Emergency Voice Communication System, Containment & Induction Loop installations to a new 359 bed student residence that would be used on a forward funding basis.

Following completion of the development in September 2020 the property has now been leased to Edinburgh University on a new 20-year full repairing and insuring basis. CableCom worked alongside S1 Developments Limited as main contractor ensuring the asset was meticulously delivered on time and on budget.
