CTS were employed as the Mechanical Contractors for Fife Council and has delivered a smoke extract ventilation refurbishment of Dunfermline Crematorium.
The system is intended for environmental ventilation and to clear any hot smoke that egresses from the cremator.

Operation start-up is from a temperature sensor on the control panel facia. Once a set temperature is reached, the Liberator fan starts at either a high or low speed. A smoke detector is provided to set the fan to full speed in the event of any smoke egress from the
cremator.

In case of fire, the environmental ventilation is overridden. Control in fire mode is by way of a fire override switch (Auto/Fire/Off) on the control panel facia.
